Transfer phone/broadband provider
Hire a transit van from Choice Vehicle Rentals
Set up post redirection service
Contact gas and electricity suppliers
Get huge supply of tea/coffee and biscuits/cake/chocolate
Send out change of address cards/e-mails
Enrol in some anti-stress classes!
Start collecting boxes for packing
Have a box of essentials - tea/coffee, kettle, mugs, spoons, biscuits, loo roll, so you don't have to search for them when you move in.
Set the bed up first. Moving is tiring and you don't want to be doing this at the end of the day.
Ring Emmaeus to collect unwanted furniture and bits
Have a house warming party!!

Hello friends!
We're moving house, hopefully at the beginning of June so I've created this Wiki so people can help us make a list of all the things we may need to do,remember and think about in preparation for it!

Everyone has experience of moving house at some point in their lives, so hopefully I can collect some good advice here.
